 (a) how many work related fatalities have occurred on Western Australia n work sites, by industry group;

 (b) how many workplace fatalities are currently under investigation by WorkSafe;

WORKSAFE — FINANCES — WORKSAFE INFORMATION SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT

(1) I refer to the financial situation of WorkSafe’s operations in the 2016 – 17 reporting period, and ask:

 (a) what was the actual budget for WorkSafe for the 2016 – 17 financial year;

 (b) how much of that budget was allocated to each of the following directorates:

 (i) construction, regional, and primary industries;

BANKSIA HILL DETENTION CENTRE — HARDING UNIT

40. Hon Alison Xamon to the minister representing the Minister for Corrective Services:

I refer to young people accommodated in the Harding Unit at Banksia Hill Detention Centre, and I ask:

(a) for each week during the period from 1 December 2016 to 31 May 2017, will the Minister please provide the average daily number of hours young peo ple spent out of their cell in the:

(i)‘A’ Wing;

Discharge of Order and Referral to Standing Committee on Legislation — Motion

Hon AARON STONEHOUSE — without notice: I move —

(1) That the Sentence Administration Amendment Bill 2017 be discharged and referred to the Standing Committee on Legislation for consideration and report by no later than Tuesday, 28 November 2017.

(2) The committee has the power to inquire into and report on the policy of the bill.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA — RELOCATION

355. Hon ALISON XAMON to the Minister for Education and Training:

I refer to the relocation of the International School of Western Australia from the City Beach high school site to the Doubleview Primary School site, and the government’s announcement that City Beach high school will not reopen.

(1) Does the need to relocate the International School of WA still exist?

(2) If yes to (1), please outline those needs.

(3) If no to (1), will the government consider renegotiating the agreement with the International School of WA?
