That this house notes with concern the plight of homeless people in Western Australia and supports the efforts being made by the government and non-government sectors to address homelessness in Western Australia.

182. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Education and Training:
I refer to the WA Labor commitment to fund participation by Western Australian public secondary schools in the Safe Schools program, and I ask:
(a) how much money has been allocated to enable schools to participate in the program;
(b) how many Western Australian public schools currently participate in the program; and
(c) what is the average cost per school to participate in the program for one year?
