62. Hon Alison Xamon to the minister representing the Minister for Corrective Services:

I refer to young people with diagnosed or suspected Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) who are accommodated at Banksia Hill Detention Centre (Banksia Hill), and I ask:

(a) will the Minister please advise if staff at Banksia Hill receive training about effective ways of working with young people who have, or are suspected to have, FASD;

61. Hon Alison Xamon to the minister representing the Minister for Corrective Services:

I refer to the Melaleuca Remand and Reintegration Facility for women operated by Sodexo, and I ask:

(a) how many women are currently accommodated at the facility;

(b) how many times has Sodexo been found to have breached its contract with the Department of Corrective Services in the operation of this facility;

(c) on what basis was the contract found to have been breached for each instance advised in (b); and
