I refer to people under 65 currently receiving home and community care funding and their transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
(1) Is the minister aware of any instances in which access to home and community care services for under 65s has already been stopped or limited in areas where the NDIS has not yet been rolled out?
(2) If yes to (1), please advise how many people and which areas are affected?
(3) Can the minister please advise who has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that this cohort of people will maintain continuity of access to support before, during and after the transition to NDIS?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. I am advised as follows.
(1) The WA Department of Health is not aware of any instances in which access to home and community care services for under 65s has been stopped or limited in areas where the NDIS has not yet been rolled out. The WA HACC program continues to operate as usual in areas where the NDIS has not yet rolled out.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The WA HACC program within the WA Department of Health is maintaining continuity of access to support for HACC clients before and during transition to the NDIS. Any existing HACC client found ineligible for the NDIS is also able to maintain continuity of support under the WA HACC program.
