I refer to the recommendations from the Law Reform Commission review of coronial practice in WA.

(1)  Does the government intend to address the outstanding recommendations from this review?

(2)  If yes to (1), when?

(3)  If no to (1), why not?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1)–(3) The process to amend the WA Coroners Act 1996 to address the outstanding recommendations of the Law Reform Commission review is ongoing. An amending bill is currently in the drafting process.
