I refer to action to address the COVID-19 pandemic and the definition of “essential services”.
(1) What homelessness services currently provided by the community sector are considered to be essential services?
(2) Are any services currently provided by the community sector to homeless people not considered to be essential services; and, if so, which ones?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) The full list of essential services is still being confirmed. Special consideration is being made for homelessness in the state’s response to COVID-19.
