2059. Hon Alison Xamon to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:

I refer to the Australasian College for Medicine guidelines on constructing and retaining a senior emergency medicine workforce G23, Table 1: Recommended minimum senior staff modelling for mixed emergency departments on page 6, and I ask:

(a)  what are the number of emergency department presentations per year for:

(i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and

(vi)  Kalgoorlie Hospital;

(b)  how many Fellows of the Australasian College for Medicine (FACEM) are rostered on in the Emergency Department for day shift, evening shift and night shift for:

(i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and

(vi)  Kalgoorlie Hospital;

(c)  how many non-FACEM Senior Decision Makers (SDM) are rostered on in the Emergency Department for day shift, evening shift and night shift for:

(i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and

(vi)  Kalgoorlie Hospital;

(d)  how many Junior Medical Officers are rostered on in the Emergency Department for day shift, evening shift and night shift for:

(i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and

(vi)  Kalgoorlie Hospital;

 (e)  how many nurses are rostered on in the Emergency Department for day shift, evening shift and night shift for:

(i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and

(vi)  Kalgoorlie Hospital;

(f)  please advise the actual and usual staff allocations for FACEM, non FACEM Senior Decision Makers, nurses and Junior Medical Officers in the Emergency Department for:

 (i)  Albany Hospital;

(ii)  Bunbury Regional Hospital;

(iii)  Geraldton Hospital;

(iv)  Broome Hospital;

(v)  Port Hedland Hospital; and
