That this house notes with concern the plight of homeless people in Western Australia and supports the efforts being made by the government and non-government sectors to address homelessness in Western Australia.

That —

(1) A select committee into elder abuse in Western Australia is established.

(2) The select committee is to inquire into elder abuse with particular reference to —

(a) determine an appropriate definition of elder abuse;

(b) identify its prevalence;
