435. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Education and Training:
I refer to the cessation of the administrative grant to independent public schools, and I ask:

(a)  does the Government intend for more schools to become Independent Public Schools;

(b)  if yes to (a), how many;

(c)  if yes to (a), will these schools be provided funding to assist in the transition to becoming independent; and

(d)  if yes to (c), how much?

414. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Education and Training:

I refer to the International Baccalaureate qualification, and ask:

(a)  has the Minister considered making this qualification available to Western Australian public school students;

(b)  will the Minister consider making this qualification available to Western Australian public school students; and

(c)  if the answer to (b) is yes, which schools are being considered for delivery of the Baccalaureate?
