I refer to the “Statutory Review of the Children and Community Services Act 2004” and to recommendation 24 on secure care.

(1)  Has an evaluation of the role and effectiveness of secure care now been undertaken?

(2)  If yes to (1)—

(a)  please provide a copy of the review report; and

I refer to the Senate Select Committee on Charity Fundraising in the 21st Century Report and to the recommendation that Australia develop a nationally consistent approach to fundraising, and I ask:

(a)  does the McGowan Government support this recommendation;

(b)  if yes to (a), is any work being undertaken to progress the recommendation; and
