ARMADALE HEALTH SERVICE — CONSULTANT LIAISON SERVICES

199. Hon Alison Xamon to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:

I refer to consultation liaison services at Armadale Health Service, and I ask:

(a) how much dedicated psychiatric nurse FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service:

(i) as at 1 July 2016; and

(ii) as at 1 July 2017;

(b) how much dedicated psychiatrist FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service:

(i) as at 1 July 2016; and

(ii) as at 1 July 2017; and

(c) how much dedicated registrar FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service:

(i) as at 1 July 2016; and

(ii) as at 1 July 2017?

Hon Alanna Clohesy replied:

With regards to consultation liaison services at Armadale Health Service:

(a) The dedicated psychiatric nurse FTE allocated was:

(i) 5.5 FTE as at 1 July 2016.

(ii) 5.5 FTE as at 1 July 2017.

(b) (i) – (ii) There is no dedicated psychiatrist FTE allocated to consultation liaison services. The Mental Health Service provides consultation input as required via the consultant on call.

(c) (i) – (ii) There is no dedicated registrar FTE allocated to consultation liaison services. The Mental Health Service provides consultation input as required via the duty doctor.
