WA Greens congratulate Gosnells Community Legal Centre on 30 years of service

WA Greens Member for East Metropolitan Region Alison Xamon MLC attended the 30-year celebrations of the Gosnells Community Legal Centre today.

“I was delighted to join with the Gosnells Community Legal Centre team while they celebrated 30 years of helping the disadvantaged in our community,” Ms Xamon said.

“The centre does a terrific job providing frontline legal and counselling services to those who need it most, while promoting basic human rights and helping people keep their dignity during stressful times.

“These types of centres are desperately needed within our communities and yet the services they can provide continue to be limited by lack of government funding.

“I congratulate the Gosnells Community Legal Centre for its success in maintaining this service for 30 years, and acknowledge the hard work of the staff and volunteers of the centre.
