PLANNING — VLAMINGH PARKLANDS — CONCEPT PLAN

1379. Hon Alison Xamon to the minister representing the Minister for Planning:

I refer to the Vlamingh Parklands concept plan finalised in 1998, and I ask:

(a)  has this plan been incorporated into any state planning strategies, frameworks or policies;

(b)  if yes to (a), which ones; and

(c)  if no to (a), what is the current status of the Vlamingh Parklands concept plan?

Hon Stephen Dawson replied:

(a)–(c) The Vlamingh Parklands concept plan has been primarily implemented by reservations in the Metropolitan Region Scheme for Parks and Recreation. Parts of the concept have been implemented via the Town of Mosman Park Local Planning Scheme No. 3 reserving the land for public open space.
