412. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Education and Training:
I refer to the rezoning and disposal of sites previously used as schools across the metropolitan area, and I ask:
(a) for each of the last 10 financial years, will the Minister please:
(i) identify which public school sites have had their zoning changed to a use other than school; and
(ii) identify which of these sites have been sold; and
(b) for the sites that have been sold, has the money been used for a particular purpose, or returned to general revenue?

1 Gilmore College – 6 231 hectares was excised from the then-named Kwinana Senior High School and sold to Landcorp for a residential redevelopment and its zoning changed to Urban. The zoning on the balance of the land supporting the now renamed Gilmore College remains unchanged. The remaining site is 14 hectares and accommodates Gilmore College and Orelia Primary School.
2 Swanbourne Primary School – 2 059 square metres was excised from the Swanbourne Primary School site and sold by private treaty and its zoning changed to Urban. The zoning on the balance of the land supporting the Swanbourne Primary School site remains unchanged.
