I refer to current tenders for Local Coordination to support the delivery of the NDIS in the following areas, CentralNorth Metropolitan, Central South Metropolitan, Great Southern, North East Metropolitan, North Metropolitan, South East Metropolitan, South Metropolitan, South West, Inner Wheatbelt, and I ask:
(a) does the Government intend to tender out Local Coordination across the remainder of the State; and
(b) if yes to (a), when?
Hon Stephen Dawson replied:
(a) No. As of 1 July 2018, the Commonwealth National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is responsible for the administration of the NDIS. The tender process referred to in this question is an initiative of the NDIA.
(b) Not applicable.
