Extract from Hansard

5619. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Mental Health representing the Minister for Water

I refer to the answer to my question on notice No. 4512 in which Latent Petroleum used 7,876,666 litres of water to hydraulically fracture the Warro-4 tight gas well, and I ask —

(1) Did the Department of Water licence any water extraction to be used for this purpose?

(2) If yes to (1) —

(a) how much water was licenced;

(b) where was that water sourced from;

(c) were any conditions applied to the licence;

(d) was metering required;

(e) when was the licence application received; and

(f) when was the licence application approved?

Hon HELEN MORTON replied:

(1)–(2) Refer to Legislative Council Question on Notice 5618.
